cleaned off the head in this vcr it was dirty
i also destroyed the sponge thingy i heard its bad for the tape
the one in my machine was completely dried up and falling to dust all over
it seems like it would be better just to open the machien
every bunch of uses and clean the head manually than leave a sponge
that just gets dirty eventually and spreads around all the collected dirt
